Our commitment
We want en.rabino-armoni.com to be usable by everyone, whatever their abilities or the technology they browse with.
We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the international reference standard and the basis of European (EN 301 549), U.S. (Section 508, ADA) and Israeli regulations.
Conformance status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA.
"Partially conformant" means that most of the content meets the standard, while a few specific elements still need work. We would rather say so clearly than claim a full conformance we could not stand behind.
What we have implemented
- Full keyboard navigation across the site, including the menu, the cookie notice and the accessibility menu
- A visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- A skip link to the main content at the top of every page
- Sound semantic structure: ordered headings and clearly defined regions
- Color contrast that meets the minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text
- Alternative text on informative images, including the book covers
- An accessibility menu to adjust text size, contrast, link highlighting, font and line spacing, and to pause animations
- Respect for the reduced-motion preference: if you have it turned on in your system, animations are switched off
- Correct behavior at 200% zoom and on narrow screens
Known limitations
We are aware of the following:
- Third-party pages. The links to buy the books lead to Amazon, and the links to our social media lead to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp. Their accessibility depends on those platforms.
- Embedded videos. If a page embeds a YouTube video, its captions are provided by YouTube and may be automatic, with limited quality.
If you come across a barrier that isn't listed here, please tell us.
How to report a problem
If you have any difficulty using this site, write to us at rabinoarmoni@gmail.com with the subject line "Accessibility".
If you can, tell us:
- Which page and which element caused the problem
- Which assistive technology you use, if any
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
We commit to replying within ten business days at the latest and to offering a solution or an alternative way to access the content.
Alternative access
If any content is hard for you to access, write to us and we will provide it another way: as plain text by email, or with direct help on WhatsApp.
